Learning through exchange: Interprofessional studies

The Hochschule für Gesundheit (hsg) prepares students for the rapidly changing demands made on the flexibility of their work and performance by providing them with specialist knowledge on a firm scientific basis. As part of our concept, our students will also be taught in interprofessional groups to give them the opportunity to gain a broader perspective outside of their own fields. In joint teaching sessions on a variety of subjects, interprofessional education promotes mutual understanding, an exchange of ideas on subject-related issues and teamwork.

Furthermore, interprofessional education makes it possible to use shared technical and financial resources and rooms effectively, providing a good example of best practice. Within the placements interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary questions are formulated and brought back to interdisciplinary study groups at the hsg.
