Studying at hsg

The Hochschule für Gesundheit offers wide-ranging, practice-oriented undergraduate courses. The student qualifies with both a bachelor degree and a professional state-examined degree, as required by the German law. This double qualification is unique for a state-funded university in Germany.

The courses include modular teaching and learning units that promote increased self-reflection as well as the ability to learn independently. Case studies are an integral part of our teaching, enabling our students to combine scientific thinking with practical knowledge.

Always something special

We offer students interprofessional learning, intensive theoretical and practice-oriented teaching and support throughout their programmes. During their studies, students attend both interdisciplinary and subject-specific courses in all semesters.

In addition they have the unique opportunity to experience how teaching, practical work and research work together. Supervised by hsg professors, students attend their placements and participate in small-scale projects at regional health-care services.
