Welcome to the website of the Department of Community Health.
The term Community Health refers to health care for groups that can be defined by specific characteristics.
These group characteristics can include a common expression of diversity characteristics such as working together, a common social space, such as a district, the association for political/social commitment and other characteristics.
In health contexts, this expression of diversity characteristics can lead to discrimination (e.g. disability).
Teaching always refers to the living environments of local communities.
Currently, the Department of Community Health is training students in four different degree programmes.
