Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Christian Timmreck
President
Prof. Dr. Christian Timmreck has been President of the Hochschule für Gesundheit since 01.01.2020. Prior to this, he served as Dean of the Department of Health Care at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, where he had held a professorship for Corporate Strategy and Finance in Healthcare since 2015.He also looks back on many years of experience as a strategy consultant in the health-care industry.

Werner Brüning
Head of Administration
Head of Administration Werner Brüning is responsible for economic and personnel administration.
In 1991, he joined the University Administration of Münster, first in the Personnel Department, then as Head of Department in the Department of Construction and Real Estate and from 2002 to 2009 as Senior Administration Director and Head of Department for Personnel and Organisational Affairs, Central Services and Data Processing.

Prof.in Dr.in Eike Quilling
Vice President Research and Transfer
Eike Quilling has taken over the professorship for health education and communication with the focus on interprofessional action at the University of Applied Sciences in October 2018 and heads the Master's program in Applied Health Sciences (AGW).
Prior to this, she held the professorship for Public Health in the Context of Social Work at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and is a member of the Doctoral Center for Social Work in Wiesbaden.
Ms. Quilling has been researching for many years in the field of setting oriented health promotion and prevention. Her current work and research focus is on municipal health promotion and the implementation of health-promoting living environments.

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Sven Dieterich
Vice President Studies and Education
Dr. Sven Dieterich joined hsg Bochum in June 2014 as Professor of Health Sciences specialising in health promotion and prevention in childhood and adolescence. Since July 13, 2018 he has served as Vice President for Studies and Education.
Prior to his professorship, he worked as an instructor for safety and health promotion at the Unfallkasse NRW, where he was responsible for numerous projects in the field of health promotion and quality development in educational institutions.

The mission statement of hsg Bochum
The mission statement describes what hsg Bochum wants to be and what demands it places on itself.
In addition to its social mission, it describes the professional characteristics and values of the university and provides a binding framework for the actions of all university members.
The guiding principles formulated therein are reliable decision-making and action principles for the planning and development processes at hsg Bochum.
In this sense, the mission statement contributes to the critical discussion and reflection of the actions of each individual and the organisation.
The mission statement was unanimously adopted by the Executive Board on March 24, 2015.
