Current research projects of hsg Bochum

The strong link between research and teaching is an integral part of the degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences for Health.
This is why it is one of the university's declared aims to expand, strengthen, develop and promote the area of research.

Within the framework of research sponsorship at hsg, cooperation with other universities, partners in practice and non-university research institutions is strategically being expanded both in Germany and abroad. The topics are based on current and future health care needs, which can be addressed on a disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary basis. In addition, the university addresses questions relating to the process of academisation and professionalisation of the health-care professions of occupational therapy, midwifery, speech and language therapy, nursing and physiotherapy.
